A Photo-Blog of the things I see in my world

The European Organization for Nuclear Research, known as CERN, is located in Geneva Switzerland. Before I was a history professor, I fancied myself a scientist. At ten years old, Santa brought me a Gilbert Chemistry Lab Set for Christmas. My mother took my aspirations seriously and made a white lab coat for me to wear when I was conducting experiments in my 'laboratory' which was located in the attic. I'm old now, but the youthful, wannabe, scientist that resides in me still has long dreamed to visit the home of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), the world's largest particle collider.
That dream finally came true.
